To better accomplish this we went to the drawing board assessed the advantages and disadvantages of current and traditional search models; namely Contingency Search and Retained Search. We found that each of these models can be effective; however we also recognized opportunities for improvement that would greatly benefit our clients. As a result we designed the Engaged Search model. It provides clients with the advantages of both Retained Search and Contingency Search without many of the disadvantages.  It has the advantage of highly focused recruiting effort with the advantage of a performance guaranteed hire or we receive no full fee.  For many of our clients, this is the best search structure.
